Community

Today, sixty years after Albert Einstein attended the first Shabbat service on the Princeton campus, our Center for Jewish Life is home to hundreds of Jewish students who gather every Friday night for Reform, Conservative and Orthodox services and Shabbat dinner in our state-of-the-art facility in the heart of campus.

We are a vibrant and growing Jewish community offering:

*Holiday Celebrations * A Capella Singing * Pre-Professional Initiatives * Social Justice Experiences * Major Guest Lectures *Cross Cultural Dialogue * Israel Advocacy * One-on-One Jewish learning * Social Gatherings * Leadership development * Travel Opportunities * Theater Performances * Kosher Dining * Library Resources * Israel Trips * Rabbinic Counseling * Klezmer Band * Friendship * Sense of Community

The CJL is in the midst of an exciting multi-year plan to expand its impact on campus.  There is palpable energy and vitality at the CJL as we attract greater numbers and reach students we've never reached before.  Our goal is to enrich the quality of Jewish life for current and future Tigers, as they grow into the next generation of Jewish leaders.

The support and involvement of alumni and community members such as you makes a critical difference in our ability to engage more Jewish students at Princeton in meaningful Jewish experiences.  We believe the Jewish future at Princeton holds unprecedented opportunities for the CJL to grow to only as an integral part of the lives of Jewish students but also to enrich campus life in the broadest sense.

We invite you to come and see firsthand how remarkably vibrant and diverse Jewish life is at the Center for Jewish Life.  And please help us spread the word that Princeton is a fantastic place to be Jewish.  Thank you for being our partner!  We couldn't do it without you!
