| Jewish Genetic Screening
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the CJL
Approximately 1 in 4 Ashkenzai Jews is a carrier for a genetic disease, making genetic screening extremely important. There are a number of recessive genetic diseases, such as Tay-Sachs and Cystic Fibrosis that are more common among Ashkenazi Jews. Please take this opportunity to get tested! For more information, and to sign up, check out: http://pediatrics.med.nyu.edu/genetics/webform/genetic-screening-registration-students.
REGISTRATION IS PREFERRED BUT WALK-INS ARE ALSO WELCOME! Sponsored by the Human Genetics Program at NYU Langone Medical Center |
